also teach Sequence Dancing which is form of ballroom whereby the steps
are repeated to 16 bars of music
Linedancing
We
teach from beginner level to intermediate and advanced. Whether you are
just starting out or have danced for years we can accommodate you in one
of our classes. You don’t need a partner for Linedancing so it is
ideal for those who wish to come along on their own.
The music for Linedancing has evolved from the Country & Western roots
and dances are now choreographed to pop, Latin American and even some
classical tunes. Basically most tunes are suitable for dancing. If it’s
got a beat there’ll be a dance written for it.
Linedancers can cover around five miles of ground in one evening and burn
up to 300 calories an hour.

LeRoc
Modern Jive
This style of dance has evolved from the Rock n Roll Jive which was popular
in the 50s and is very versatile and popular. It is a take-it-anywhere
dance style, which accounts for it’s huge popularity. Beginners
can be dancing three or four moves from the first lesson which creates
a feeling of achievement. There are hundreds of different moves to master
and enjoy.
